The Process

This project transformed a long, narrow commercial shell into an elevated retail boutique designed to feel as much like a social destination as a place to shop. Architectural arches were introduced to add rhythm and dimension, breaking up the linear footprint while creating focused display moments throughout the space. Soft curves are balanced with clean lines to maintain a refined, contemporary feel.

A custom cash wrap anchors the boutique, featuring layered materials, integrated lighting, and signage that reinforces the brand’s identity. Comfortable seating areas, sculptural lighting, and curated decor elements encourage customers to linger and engage.

Fitting rooms were designed as an extension of the brand experience rather than a purely functional space. Arched doorways, velvet drapery, and softly backlit mirrors create privacy while maintaining a sense of luxury. Throughout the store, art prints, a large mural, and distinctive wall hooks blur the line between retail display and gallery-style presentation.

A key design challenge was resolving the transition between two existing flooring materials. By introducing a contrasting herringbone tile inset, the change became a deliberate focal point rather than a visual interruption. The result is a warm, cohesive boutique that blends thoughtful architecture with an inviting, social atmosphere.
