The Process

What began as a modest 1968 ranch became a warm, welcoming retreat designed for a homeowner who loves to entertain. This remodel transformed the home from a compact layout into a thoughtfully expanded space ideal for hosting guests, gathering with friends, and creating seamless indoor–outdoor living experiences.

The basement was enlarged and reimagined as a full entertainment hub, complete with a generous bar, game area, and flexible seating zones. Upstairs, the kitchen was expanded to support effortless hosting, complemented by a new butler’s pantry for extra prep and storage space. A mudroom with integrated cabinetry was added, along with a bathroom and linen closet positioned for easy access from the backyard—perfect planning for a future pool addition.

The redesign also introduced a spacious primary suite featuring double vanities, a makeup counter, and a luxurious wet room. Each bedroom now includes its own private bathroom, making the home especially well-suited for overnight guests. In the heart of the home, a new living room with vaulted ceilings centers around a double-sided fireplace that extends to the exterior wall, creating a shared hearth for both the interior and outdoor living area.

Every update was made with comfort, hospitality, and connection in mind, resulting in a ranch home that feels intimate yet expansive—tailored for gathering, celebrating, and making guests feel at home.
