Scope Questionnaire

Firstly, thank you for considering ArcDeco as your partner in design for your upcoming project! We’re honored and appreciative to be invited to the table. 

We’ve developed this Scope Questionnaire to help us prepare for your Discovery Appointment. Your responses will be used to create your Project Proposal + Estimate — including recommended deliverables, project approach, and an initial budget range.

When we meet for your Discovery Appointment, we’ll review your responses and clarify any ambiguities. Alternatively, if you’d like extra support, we can also complete this form together during the Discovery Appointment.

A quick note on budget: When we ask about your total project budget, it’s to help us understand how big the project can be and to avoid over-designing. A range is perfectly fine, and “not sure yet” is okay too — we’ll talk it through.

A few helpful notes

Saving progress: Google Forms only saves your progress if you’re logged into a Google account. If you’re not signed in, we recommend completing the form in one sitting.

Don’t get bogged down: If you’re unsure about a question, quick answers or best guesses are perfectly fine — or feel free to leave tricky items blank. This form is merely an opportunity for you to weigh in on details that are important to you and share any specific ideas you have in mind. We’re here to offer recommendations and guidance as the plan for your space takes shape and we'll work through details together during follow-up conversations. 

Room names: When listing rooms, please use the same wording you selected earlier in the form (e.g., “Great Room” vs “Living Room”) so we can stay consistent.

Links & inspiration: If you have inspiration, a link to a Pinterest board or a few screenshots is more than enough. You don’t need to curate a perfect collection.
